Welcome to my blog, “Musings of a Naturalist.” I selected this title because deep at heart, I identify as a naturalist, but check out my CV to judge for yourself. My vacations consist of going places to explore nature, particularly to discover local plants and animals in an area. While others may opt to attend opera or theater or symphony, I opt to enjoy the show that nature puts on daily. Each fortnight, I’ll discuss some of the observations I’ve made in the previous weeks, and some of the research I undertake to learn more about local, natural phenomena.
